The latest Penguin Good Australian Wine guide is now out and our Shiraz has score a very good rating of 90 for our first vintage. You will note the retail price is $26.50. When our cellar door opens late this year the price will be the same as our on-line price of $22.00 making it even better value.

 July is the time we start to think about pruning the vines. By August we have actually started. Not that it is hard work but it is sometimes bitterly cold out in the vineyard at this time of the year so many indoor tasks get done first. Whilst we have lots of beautiful sunny days during winter in the Woolshed Valley the sun does not warm you until about ten and by four it is starting to cool down again. |
